Job coaches are available to assist Southwest Opportunities Center (SOC) individuals in the beginning phases of a new job with learning and accurately carrying out job expectations. The job coach will work with the employer to identify job duties and develop a specific method of training to allow the individual to gain the skills and confidence needed to become self-sufficient on the job. A key component of job coaching is identifying and evolving a support system within the workplace for the individual.
