The Community Employment Program at Southwest Opportunities Center (SOC), assists individuals in obtaining competitive employment by matching interests with abilities. This goal is accomplished through a team effort between the individual and the placement specialist. These services are provided through Job Placement and the Supported Employment Program. The State of Wisconsin’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) refers individuals to SOC for the following services:
- Job Shadow
- Skills to Pay the Bills
- Job Development
- Internship/Temporary Work
- Long Term Support
- Job Coaching
- On-the-Job Assessment
- Supported Employment
